The Judging reception provides an opportunity for the Spirit of Entrepreneur Awards judging panel to personally meet and interact with each of the semi-finalists. Sponsored by Roorda, Piquet & Bessee, Inc. CPAs the event includes an orientation on the Spirit Award processes and event, media, and networking. Nominees are put into distinct groups and participate in multiple activities at the reception, including a photo shoot and interviews, a peer networking session for the semi-finalists complete with catered refreshments, and a timed "speed round" where the finalists and judges meet in one on one Q&A sessions.
